The trailer of much-awaited Mammootty-starrer film 'Mamangam' was released on Saturday evening. The periodical film, set in the 17th century, tells the story of a warrior who participated in the great Mamangam festival. The two-minute trailer of the film shows glimpses of magnificent artwork and breathtaking action sequences in the film. Mamangam, produced by Venu Kunnappally, is directed by M Padmakumar.
It is learnt that a huge set, worth Rs 10 crore, was erected for shooting the battle scenes of the film. Apart from Mammootty, Mamangam also features an ensemble cast including Unni Mukundan, Prachi Tehlan, Anu Sithara, Kaniha, Siddique, Suresh Krishna, Iniya, Kaviyoor Ponnamma and Mohan Sharma. The film, which will release simultaneously in four languages, will hit the screens on November 21.
