COVID-19: Another Malayali dies in Mumbai

MUMBAI: Another Malayali death due to COVID-19 has bee reported here. 72-year-old TJ Philip, a native of Kozhencherry, was under treatment at the hospital where he breathed his last. Wife: Alice. Son: Philp John.

COVID cases are on the rise in Maharashtra with over 3000 positive cases reported on consecutive days. The death toll in the state due to the viral disease stands at 3717. There are 49,616 active cases in the state.

The rate of reported coronavirus cases is dropping in Mumbai, which is a relief. However, the disease is rapidly spreading outside the district, which is a concern.
