Thiruvananthapuram zoo keeper dies of snakebite

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: A zoo keeper of Thiruvananthapuram died of a snakebite. He has been identified as Arshad of Kattakkada. He was 44. He died after a king cobra bit him. The snake bit him when he was cleaning the cage.

The incident happened this afternoon at 1 pm. Harshad was the animal keeper of the zoo. Although he was taken to the medical college hospital, his life could not be saved. He leaves behind his wife and a child.
