Aisha Sultana writes to PM and Amit Shah

KOCHI: Director Aisha Sultana, who has been booked by the Kavaratti police for sedition, has written to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah seeking various things. In her letter, Aisha states that her 'bioweapon remark' was misinterpreted by people and that was merely a comparison with the administrator's actions and was not defamatory to the country.

Meanwhile, the Lakshadweep administration has relaxed lockdown restrictions in Lakshadweehe island. The decision was taken following the decrease in Covid cases. There will be only partial restrictions on Saturdays and Sundays.
