No public holiday tomorrow; Bakrid holiday postponed to Wednesday

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The government has issued an order postponing the public holiday of Bakrid in the state. As per previous announcement, the holiday for Bakrid was tomorrow. However, as per the new order the holiday will be on Wednesday. The government order in this regard has been issued. The government had announced relaxations for three consecutive days in view of Bakrid.

In addition to shops selling essential items (groceries, fruits, vegetables, fish, meat, bakery) coming under A, B and C categories, permission has been granted to open textile shops, shoe shops, electronics shops, fancy shops and jewellery shops. Shops have been permitted to open till 8 pm. No relaxations in D category areas with triple lockdown.
