Massive fire at chicken waste processing factory; 26 people injured, two in critical condition

PALAKKAD: A massive fire has broken out at a chicken waste processing factory in Ambalappara. Several firefighters and locals got injured after an oil tank exploded while they were trying to put out the fire. Firefighters of the Mannarkkad fire station were injured.

A total of 26 people were injured in the fire. Two of them are in critical condition. They have been admitted to a private hospital in Mannarkkad. Attempts to extinguish the fire are still ongoing.
