Nipah: sigh of relief as 17 more samples return negative, total of 140 samples found to be negative

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Health Minister Veena George announced that the samples of 17 persons, who came in contact with the boy who died of the Nipah virus, have returned negative. While 5 of these samples were tested at NIV, Pune, the others were tested at the lab of Kozhikode Medical College. With this, the results of 140 have turned negative.
