KOCHI: Monson Mavunkal, the self-styled antique collector, will be questioned in detail today in the antiques fraud case. He will be interrogated at the Thripunithura Crime Branch office. Information will be sought on how the fake bank documents were created for the fraud.
The investigation team will ask Monson about his relationship with top police officials. The court remanded Monson in crime branch custody for three days.
The crime branch will record the statements of more people who were victims of Monson's fraud. M T Shamer, Yaqoob Purayil, Anoop V Ahmed and Salim Edathil will give their statements today. In addition to the evidence handed over at the time of filing the complaint, the complainants will also provide the information collected thereafter to the crime branch.
