It was Monson who cured my disease, I had only a professional relationship with him: Sruthi Lakshmi

KOCHI: Dismissing the allegations over her relationship with conman Monson Mavunkal, actress Sruthi Lakshmi said that she had only a professional relationship with Monson. She also said that Monson had treated her as a doctor. "I met him while taking part in some dance programs organized in connection with Pravasi Malayalee Association. He has treated me as a doctor and his treatment greatly helped me," she said.

"Hair loss was a disease that plagued me for a long time. It was not just normal hair loss. It was a condition called Alopecia areata. I had undergone treatment at various hospitals. But it was Monson who finally cured my disease by giving a medicine. I don't know whether he is a doctor. However, the medicines given by him were effective. I was shocked when I heard that he was not a real doctor," Sruthi said.
