Kerala records 9361 COVID-19 cases on Friday, 99 deaths

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The state confirmed 9361 COVID-19 cases on Friday. Among these, 9012 persons developed the disease through contact, including 254 cases without an identified source of infection. 39 persons, who came from outside the state, tested positive for the virus. 56 health workers contracted the disease on Friday.

9401 patients tested negative for the virus today. As of now, there are 80,892 active cases in the state.

The state confirmed 99 deaths due to the virus on Friday with the toll rising to 27,765.

Ernakulam 1552, Thiruvananthapuram 1214, Kollam 1013, Thrissur 910, Kottayam 731, Kozhikode 712, Idukki 537, Malappuram 517, Pathanamthitta 500, Kannur 467, Alappuzha 390, Palakkad 337, Wayanad 310, Kasaragod 171.
