Minister Muhammad Riyas expresses gratitude to Union Minister Nitin Gadkari for allocating Rs 3465.82 crore to Kerala

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Public Works Minister P A Muhammad Riyas expressed gratitude to Union Road Transport and Highways Minister Nitin Gadkari for sanctioning the six laning work from Kodungallur to Edapally section of NH-66 (Old 17) with a budget of Rs 3465.82 Cr under Bharatmala Pariyojana. Riyaz said that during a meeting in Delhi last month, he had talked about the development of the national highway and called for action to expedite the development of the six-lane highway. He said the current project would give a major impetus to the most important Muziris heritage conservation tourism project in Ernakulam and Thrissur districts.
