ALAPPUZHA: Police have nabbed two of the main accused in the murder of BJP leader Renjith Sreenivasan. Both the accused are said to be directly involved in the murder. It is learnt that they were nabbed from Perumbavoor. Renjith was murdered on December 19 by a group of 12 people who came on 6 bikes.
Earlier, the probe team had extended the probe to more states outside Kerala. The team conducted investigations in Tamil Nadu and Karnataka. OBC Morcha state secretary Renjith was murdered just hours after SDPI state secretary Adv KS Shan was killed.
BJP state president K Surendran had recently demanded that the case be handed over to the NIA.
