15 tourists hospitalised for food poisoning in Wayanad

WAYANAD: Some tourists were admitted to the hospital after they showed symptoms of food poisoning. 11 from the 21-member team from the capital city complained of uneasiness. 15 of them are undergoing treatment at Thamarasseri taluk hospital.

The team, natives of Kilimanoor, had some sweets and biriyani from a hotel at Kambalakkadu in Wayanad. Three of them admitted in the hospital has major health issues. Others have symptoms such as fatigue, vomiting, and diarrhoea. When they showed these symptoms after having food, they sought treatment. The health department has started an investigation
