THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: A person alleged of dealing with anti-national content sitting in the chair of chief minister, is an insult not only to the position but also to the state itself, said opposition MLA K K Rema, during the adjournment motion in the assembly.
“A person, alleged of dealing with anti-national content, sitting in a chair as prominent as that of chief minister, is an insult not only to the position but also to the state itself. The resignation of EMS cabinet in 1969 is right before the communists. If the allegations were baseless, then why didn’t they show the courage to send at least a legal notice to the one who raised the allegation?
Saritha S Nair was brought to the fore to rescue the government. Have the government forgotten to even be ashamed? Is the government a courier service that distributes Quran and dates brought from abroad? The chief minister of Kerala is showing lizard’s tail-dropping trick by transferring the vigilance chief, when he was about to be caught red-handed. He cannot escape by all this. No matter how much you cover it with a gold vessel, all the truth will come out one day”, said Rema.
