Malayali wins Big Ticket prize in UAE draw

ABU DHABI: The results of the first weekly e-draw of May’s Big Ticket have been announced, with four winners, including a Malayali, sharing a prize of 100,000 dirhams. The winners include two Indians and one person each from Malaysia and Bangladesh.

The Malayali winner is Jawad Naseer, who works in the public transport department in Qatar. Jawad has been living in Qatar for the past four years. He purchased the ticket along with 20 friends. Reacting to the win, he said he was very happy and considered it a matter of luck.

The other Indian winner is Vinay Puthumana, who lives in Dubai. His ticket number was 037772. Each of the four winners received 25,000 dirhams. Vinay purchased the ticket individually. The third winner is Ravichandran V Kashinathan from Malaysia. He is an engineer and has been living in Dubai for the past 17 years. He has been participating in Big Ticket draws with friends for the last two years.

The fourth winner is Sagar Shamsul Islam from Bangladesh. Sagar has been living in Ajman for the past five years. He participated in the draw along with a group of 10 people.

The live draw will be held on June 3. The Big Win competition will continue until May 24. Those who buy two tickets in a single purchase can participate in the contest. Four winners will be announced on June 1, and they will get a chance to take part in the live draw on June 3. Each participant will have the opportunity to win up to 150,000 dirhams.
