‘Just found out about their 10-year romance, marriage expenses with their own money’

Actress Ahaana Krishna and cinematographer Nimish Ravi got married on September 13. Their wedding reception was held on Tuesday. The statement of Ahaana Krishna’s father, actor and BJP leader Krishna Kumar, to the media during the reception are being widely discussed on social media. He said that he came to know only recently about his daughter’s ten-year-long relationship and that he is proud of being the father of four strong daughters capable of getting married with the money they have earned through their own hard work.

‘I am always happy. It’s not particularly because of the wedding. I am always happy anyway. I also came to know about their ten-year-long relationship only now. People don’t necessarily have to tell everyone everything, do they? They came and told us that we are going to get married like this. I have known the boy’s father, Ravi, for 33 years. He is a former film producer. It was only later that I came to know that Nimish is Ravi’s son.
