TIGER SHROFF, SALMAN KHAN

MUMBAI: Contract killers from the Lawrence Bishnoi gang initially planned to target Bollywood actor Salman Khan but quickly doubled back after studying the actor's security protection. This big revelation was made during the interrogation of the accused in the Tiger Shroff shooting case in Juhu.

The gang members first tried to shoot Salman Khan in front of his Mumbai residence. But after seeing heavy police security, a Bandra police station patrol van and policemen wearing bulletproof jackets in front of Galaxy Apartment in Bandra, the accused dropped the plan.

Meanwhile, four more individuals, including two women, have been arrested in connection with the case. The men who were arrested are the ones who procured the firearm for the attackers, while the women were responsible for delivering it to the three assailants. The first suspects to be apprehended in the case were Ritwik alias Roshan (22), a native of Bihar, and Rehan (18) and Phool Singh (18), both from Haryana.

An associate of Anil Pandit—whom the police suspect to be the mastermind behind the shooting—had been arrested earlier. Haryana Police had arrested Sameer, an associate of Anil Pandit who has links to the Lawrence Bishnoi gang.

Reports indicated that Anil Pandit provided an advance payment to one of the individuals involved and promised 35,000 rupees to Rehan to carry out the attack.
