'Even members of her own party do not take her seriously'; CJP hits back at Kangana Ranaut

NEW DELHI: The Cockroach Janata Party (CJP) has hit back at BJP MP Kangana Ranaut over her remarks mocking the student protest against the alleged NEET irregularities. CJP spokesperson Saurav Das said even members of Kangana's own party do not take her seriously. He also said that a person holding the post of an MP should be more responsible while making public statements and claimed that Gen Z has contributed much more to the country than Kangana. He made the remarks during a press conference on Tuesday.

The controversy began after Kangana mocked the CJP-led protest at Jantar Mantar, where thousands of students had gathered to protest the alleged NEET irregularities. In an Instagram Story, she said watching videos of the Gen Z protests made her feel like vomiting. She also described the language used by the protesters as "disgusting" and questioned how they had been raised.

Kangana further alleged that the younger generation lives a luxurious life using their parents' money and claimed they are not good at studies and are "good for nothing."

She also targeted the cockroach symbol adopted by the protesters, saying they call themselves cockroaches and "look and behave like them." Kangana added that videos from the protest had left her mentally disturbed. Her remarks sparked widespread criticism, with many people condemning her comments.
