National-level shooter Damayanti Sen goes missing; family suspects mystery

KOLKATA: The Indian sports fraternity is in anguish after news surfaced that 15-year-old national-level shooter Damayanti Sen went missing from Howrah station today. The family confirmed that she left her phone at home. Probe is now relying mostly on CCTV visuals.

Damayanti went missing on Thursday afternoon, and nothing came out from the search conducted by Sen’s exhausted family and police. According to the complaint, Sen went out to buy some household items but failed to return home. She was recently selected for trials in the national team.

When examining the CCTV visuals, Sen was last spotted ambling from platform number four to platform number five of Howrah station. She is a resident of 30/2, Umacharan Bhattacharjee Lane in Central Howrah. The family are in shock since Sen maintained a great rapport with every relative, and it was beyond comprehension for them to explain the reason for her disappearance. Some of the family members suspect foul play in the incident.
