NEW DELHI: The NEET UG re-examination for more than 22 lakh students will be held today from 2 pm to 5.15 pm. An additional 15 minutes has been given to candidates. Students with disabilities can write the exam until 6.20 pm. The National Testing Agency (NTA) has asked students not to believe rumours and to remain calm while appearing for the exam.

The exam held on May 3 was cancelled following a question paper leak. The question papers will be brought to the examination centres today from bank lockers under the security of central forces and police. A total of 6,669 invigilators have been appointed. More than 2 lakh officials, including police personnel, have been deployed for security arrangements. A mock drill was conducted yesterday. All medical colleges will remain open today. The decision was taken after medical students were also found involved in the question paper leak case. A final review meeting was held under the leadership of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan.
