'Man-hater' Bihar teacher suspended from job? Samay Raina breaks silence amid controversy

Bihar-based teacher and content creator Sakshi Jha became the most controversial contestant to appear in India's Got Latent Season 2 after she introduced herself as a man-hater. However, the cocky attitude which Jha might have thought would earn her brownie points ended in disappointment as judges Tanmay Bhat, Vishal Dadlani, Raghu Ram, and Yashraj Mehra gave her zero points. She thus became the first contestant this season to leave the show with zero points. However, on Jha’s brighter side, her popularity burgeoned, though for odd reasons.

Meanwhile, unverified reports suggested that Jha has been suspended from her teaching job in Bihar for making untoward comments at her family members and humiliating males.

The showrunner Samay Raina, meanwhile, urged netizens not to target her and to go for a measured response.

Controversy:

In the show, Jha introduced herself as a man-hater and even opened up about her dislike for her father just because of his male identity. Judge Raghu Ram contested her views after Jha said she espoused feminism. Moreover, Jha said she would also try to hurt her future husband both mentally and physically.

Amid worsening controversy over the issue. Sakhi Jha appeared on her social media to say that it was a rage-bait act she did on the show and was far from her real self. It seems the late explanation was not sufficient to allay the controversy.
