KOZHIKODE: Krishnapriya, wife of Arjun, who went missing in the landslide in Shirur, has joined office. She has been appointed as junior clerk in the Vengeri Service Cooperative Bank. The cooperative department issued an order in this regard the other day.

The governing body decided to give the job to continue the relationship with Arjun's family, who have been members and customers of this bank for years. The Kerala government later issued a special order for that.

Krishnapriya responded to the media that she has great faith in the Karnataka government regarding the search for Arjun and is hopeful that the dredging machine will be brought soon. Krishnapriya added that she is thankful for all the support given by the public so far.

Arjun's family had met Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah the other day. The chief minister had assured the relatives that the dredger will be brought soon and the expense will be fully borne by the government. The expense for bringing the dredger is expected to be Rs 96 lakh. This is brought from Goa.

Arjun went missing in the landslide on Panavel-Kanyakumari highway at Shirur in Dakshina Kannada on July 16. Arjun was coming from Belgaum to Edavanna with timber on 15th.
