Deshabhimani holds back Sunday supplement carrying tributes to VS after printing

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Deshabhimani, the mouthpiece of the CPM, did not distribute its regular Sunday supplement after it had already been printed with a memorial article on former chief minister and veteran CPM leader V S Achuthanandan.

As part of VS’ first death anniversary, the Sunday supplement was printed after including a memorial note by his former secretary and biographer, K V Sudhakaran. However, a decision was taken at the last moment not to distribute the supplement carrying the article of VS. The Sunday supplement could not be published due to a technical issue was the message given.
