Dr. Kuriakose Mor Theophilose to assume charge as Jacobite Church’s Thiruvananthapuram Metropolitan

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Dr. Kuriakose Mor Theophilose is set to take charge as the Metropolitan of the Thiruvananthapuram region of the Jacobite Syrian Church today. The installation ceremony is scheduled to be held at 5 p.m. at the St. Peter’s Jacobite Throne Cathedral on Punnen Road.

The religious service will be led by Catholicos Baselios Joseph Bava, with the Bishop of the Mylapore diocese, Dr. Isaac Mar Osthatheos, and other Metropolitans serving as co-celebrants.

A reception will follow the installation ceremony, featuring several dignitaries from various walks of life. The attendees include the Leader of the Opposition V.D. Satheesan, Cardinal Mar Baselios Cleemis, Bishop Dr. Princeton Ben, Swami Gurutnam Jnanathapaswi, Dr. V.P. Suhaib Maulavi, and M. Sangeeth Kumar.
