‘I eloped with Anoop not to abandon him’, Megha opens up on why she left Akhil’

Akhil NRD is a content creator with a lot of followers on social media. His wife, Megha Nair, also has appeared in most of his videos. Megha recently left her husband’s home with Anoop, a private bus driver. Although visuals of the incident were widely circulated, neither Akhil nor Megha had initially responded. After their photos and videos together were removed from Instagram, many were convinced that the reports were true.

Megha had the other day shared a photo with the caption, ‘At my father’s house in Chengannur.’ Some people commented asking whether she had also left Anoop. Megha has now responded to such comments via a post. Megha openly acknowledged that she had left her husband’s home with Anoop. She said that she did not leave with someone merely to abandon him later, and that she has her own reasons to leave Akhil which she could not reveal publicly.

Megha also denied reports claiming that she had taken gold and other valuables when she left the house. She said that she returned their gold and left with only her own belongings. She said that she stayed with Anoop for ten days and in the meantime, went to meet her father. She later returned to Anoop’s house.

Megha also said that they had signed an agreement not to publicly accuse each other. She added that people who claim to be their friends may say many things, but that no one should believe everything they say. It is not clear whether Akhil and Megha have separated legally.
