THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Kerala State Electricity Board confirmed that the load shedding will continue in Kerala on Thursday. It is reported that power regulation is needed during peak consumption hours at night. KSEB also announced that there is a possibility of an increase of 400 to 500 MW in power consumption today.
KSEB said that power regulation is unavoidable if the required amount of electricity is not available through the power exchange. There has been a hue and cry over the repeated power regulation in Kerala. Criticism is also surging against the ministry for failing to find an alternative to alleviate concerns over the power crisis in the state, rather than putting the burden on the citizens.
