Malayali student killed in tourist bus accident in Punjab 

LUDHIANA: A Malayali student was killed after a tourist bus overturned in Punjab. She has been identified as Josna George of Kaduthuruthy in Kottayam. She was a second-year MBA student of Lovely Professional University in Punjab.

The bus met with the accident while the students were on a trip near Ludhiana. Initial reports say the driver may have dozed off at the wheel and lost control over the vehicle, leading to the accident.

Josna, who was sitting on the side of the bus, was thrown onto the road when the vehicle lost control and overturned. The bus then ran over her. Her body, which was trapped underneath the bus, was recovered after the vehicle was lifted using a crane.

Several other Malayali students travelling on the bus also sustained injuries in the accident.
