Misbehaviour: Police register case against Suresh Gopi on complaint of journalist

KOZHIKODE: The Nadakkavu police have registered a case against actor and BJP leader Suresh Gopi on the woman journalist's complaint. The case was registered under Section 354A. The complaint submitted by the journalist to the Kozhikode City Police Commissioner was handed over to the Nadakkavu police. The complaint stated that Suresh Gopi insulted womanhood and behaved with bad intentions.

The incident occurred during a media interaction in Tali, Kozhikode. Suresh Gopi was seen putting his hand on the shoulder of a woman journalist who had asked a question he did not like. It is clear from the footage that Suresh Gopi repeatedly placed his hand over the journalist's shoulder even after she brushed his hands away. Later, the journalist said that she would take legal action against Suresh Gopi. Following this, Suresh Gopi issued an apology to the journalist.
