One killed after announcement vehicle hits during Shobha Yatra in Pathanamthitta

PATHANAMTHITTA: One person was killed after being hit by the announcement jeep of a Shobha Yatra held as part of the celebrations for Sree Krishna Jayanti. The accident happened at Kurumbakara in Enadimangalam, Pathanamthitta. The dead is 86-year-old local resident Krishnan.


The elderly man was standing behind the vehicle when the driver was reversing the jeep, and he was struck by the vehicle. It is reported that the vehicle ran over his body. Following the accident, Krishnan was rushed to a hospital, but his life could not be saved.
