KOCHI: The Kerala High Court has ruled that the Enforcement Directorate (ED) can continue investigation in the monthly payoff case. The high court’s division bench dismissed the plea filed by Cochin Minerals and Rutile Limited (CMRL) against the single bench order allowing investigation in the case. The high court had directed the ED not to take any action till the order in the appeal is received. The ED was preparing for further action on the hope that the division bench order would be favorable. As part of that, a meeting was scheduled to be convened in Kochi today with the participation of the ED Director.
