Message is clear! Top BJP leaders flock to Dharmendra Pradhan's residence

NEW DELHI: Senior BJP leaders have come out in support of Dharmendra Pradhan, the former Union minister who had to resign following the highly volatile youth protest in New Delhi. Union Home Minister Amit Shah, Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman, Commerce Minister Piyush Goyal, BJP National President Nitin Nabin and many other prominent leaders visited Pradhan at his residence. The visit is a reflection of the importance BJP gives to a grassroots-level leader like Pradhan, whose role was crucial for the party coming to power both in West Bengal and Odisha. Party workers are arriving en masse at Pradhan’s residence to express support.

“For Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) workers, the nation, our youth, and students hold far greater importance than any position. Today, Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan ji's resignation from his post is a reflection of this very principle. The Union government is committed to addressing concerns about the credibility of the examination system and taking strict action against those responsible for the question paper leak. The decisions taken by the Modi government to punish the culprits strictly are commendable.

Dharmendra Pradhan has led several important reforms during his tenure as the Education Minister. The implementation of the National Education Policy, expansion of PM Shri Schools, promotion of digital education, increasing the use of mother tongues in examinations, skill development, and strengthening coordination between industry and academia were brought in during Pradhan’s tenure,” said Amit Shah.
