Long queue of vehicles: Suresh Gopi gets Paliyekkara toll booths opened

THRISSUR: Union Minister Suresh Gopi on Sunday intervened to open the Paliyekkara toll booths after a long queue of vehicles built up on both sides of the toll plaza. The incident took place when Suresh Gopi reached Paliyekkara while travelling from Thrissur to Kochi.

Vehicles were lined up for more than two kilometres on both sides of the toll plaza. Saying that such a long queue could not be allowed to continue, Suresh Gopi intervened and directed toll plaza operators to open all gates to ease the congestion.

Suresh Gopi and his staff got out of their car and opened all the toll booths. Police personnel also joined them during the intervention.
