Three killed as car crashes into parked lorry in Malappuram 

MALAPPURAM: Three people were killed after a car crashed into a parked lorry in Malappuram. The incident happened at Kohinoor in Thenjipalam. The dead have been identified as Shaheed (40) of Kottappuram House in Thrissur Pannithadam Chiramanangad, his wife Shaheena and her uncle’s daughter Jahana (26). The accident happened when they were going to Thrissur from Kozhikode.

The car, which lost control in the heavy rain, crashed into the lorry parked on the lorry stand on National Highway 66. The police and fire force, which arrived at the spot, cut open the car and pulled out the three. They were taken to a private hospital in Chelari and Kozhikode Medical College, but their lives could not be saved. The bodies are kept in the mortuary of Kozhikode Medical College Hospital.
