UDF's calculations go wrong; U R Pradeep leading in Chelakkara

CHELAKKARA: LDF candidate U R Pradeep is leading in the first round of counting of votes in the Chelakara assembly elections. When the second round of EVM counting is over, U R Pradeep is leading by almost 4000 votes. When the first rounds are counted, it is estimated that the votes have been received as per the figures of the LDF. However, in the beginning, the UDF had calculated that the LDF would have the upper hand. The UDF has estimated that it will get a majority of around 1,000 votes. However, all those calculations went wrong and U R Pradeep is advancing in the constituency.
