‘Officially Mr & Mrs’; Malayalees favourite actress Janani Iyer gets hitched

Janani Iyer, a popular actress known for her work in Malayalam and Tamil films, has got married. The groom is her close friend and pilot Sai Roshan Shyam. Janani has shared the wedding pictures on her social media page, captioning them, ‘Officially Mr and Mrs.’

Several celebrities, including actor Sunny Wayne and actresses Aishwarya Rajesh and Gayathri Shankar, have extended their wishes. Janani and Sai got engaged in April last year, and she had shared those pictures as well.

Janani Iyer made her acting debut with the Tamil film ‘Avan Ivan’ and has since acted in several Malayalam films. She entered Malayalam cinema as the female lead opposite Kunchacko Boban in Three Dots. She has also appeared in films like Koothara, Moshayile Kuthira Meenukal, and Machuka.

She played the female lead opposite Asif Ali in Ithu Thaanda Police. Her performance in the song ‘Vinmeen’ from the Tamil film Thegidi, starring Ashok Selvan, gave her a major career break. Before entering films, Janani had acted in more than 150 advertisements.

She was also the third runner-up in Bigg Boss Tamil Season 2.
