'What do you want?' Chandu Salim Kumar explodes at media during final rites ceremony, video goes viral

Chandu, the grieving son of the actor Salim Kumar, lost his cool at the media for creating a ruckus-like situation during the final rites of his father. Thousands arrived at the spot to see their beloved artist for the last time. The video of Chandu shouting at the media went viral on social media.

It is reported that Chandu exploded at the media after many of them violated the order given by the police to come nearer to the spot where the last rites were taking place. Relatives of the actor tried to calm down Chandu, who yelled at the media, “What do you want now?”

After the video went viral on social media, many came with support to Chandu and critiqued the media for lacking the decency to leave the grieving family alone at that point. Many said that the media were jostling to get the visuals in close-up, without respecting the feelings of the family. Some others, including celebrities, commented on the incident, calling it voyeurism, not journalism.
