
BENGALURU: A complaint was filed over an incident where a stranger secretly recorded the footage of a woman bathing in an apartment complex. The incident took place in a flat in Green Glen Layout, Bengaluru. The police registered a case and started an investigation based on the complaint filed by the 28-year-old woman. The woman in her complaint said that the incident took place on the evening of May 31 last month. The woman raised a noise after seeing a phone popping through the window. Amid the commotion, the person ran away.
The woman entered the bathroom around 8.15 pm when she noticed someone holding a mobile phone near the window. Realising that someone was recording her footage, the woman immediately raised an alarm. She told the police that the phone used to record her footage was green and had two cameras. The woman stated that the phone was being held by a man wearing a grey T-shirt. Hearing the noise, the accused fled the scene before anyone could catch him.
The police have not received any concrete information about how the accused entered the flat. A senior police officer assured of strict police action. The police are examining the CCTV footage of the flat complex and nearby areas in detail to identify the accused. The police said that at present, there are no other clues about the accused and no one has been arrested.
