NEW DELHI: The portal for applying for revaluation of CBSE Class 12 answer sheets has become operational again. Applications can be submitted from today till midnight of June 6. The fee is Rs 25 per question. Applications should be submitted through the website https://postresult.cbseit.in/pvr/. Information regarding this is available on the CBSE portal https://www.cbse.gov.in/cbsenew/cbse.html.

The portal, which has been facing frequent disruptions since May 19th, had been assured that it would be fully operational from yesterday. Although the option for revaluation was not available in the past few days, it was possible to access the portal. Even yesterday, it was not possible.

Thousands of students did not get the marks they deserved due to a major lapse in paper scanning during the evaluation. Students were worried as they could not even apply for revaluation.

CBSE and the central government had claimed that the application portal was fully functional after fixing the shortcomings with the help of IIT and cyber experts. The portal, which was said to be operational from yesterday morning, was down. Hyderabad-based Coempt Edutech was tasked with the on-screen marking (OSM) scanning of the answer sheets. The company was awarded the contract on December 5, 2025, for the examination held in February-March 2026.
