MALAPPURAM: An 18-year-old girl was found hanging at her rented house in Thenhipalam, Malappuram. She was a victim in three POCSO cases. The girl was sexually abused by six including her relatives.

The girl is a native of Ramanattukara in Kozhikode. The victim’s mother said that she committed suicide when she went to drop her younger son to school. After returning, she knocked on the door and called her on the phone, but there was no response. When she looked through the window, saw her hanging. The neighbours rushed and took her to the hospital but her life could not be saved. The body has been shifted to the medical college hospital.

An investigation has started in the case registered. Meantime, the girl’s mother lashed at the police. Even after requesting many times, the girl was not shifted to a safer place. She said that even after lodging a written complaint, there was no one to help them.
