KOCHI: A complaint has been filed with the police against leading news channels and journalists in the incident of capturing the visuals of actor Dileep's house using a drone. Dileep's sister S Jayalakshmi Suraj is the complainant. In the complaint filed at Aluva station, legal action has been sought against the Reporter and Asianet News channels and their heads.

‘The drone was operated without the consent or prior permission of the inmates of the house. This is a blatant violation of our privacy. Our residence is not a public place, and no media organization has the authority to conduct aerial surveillance over a private residence. Irreparable harm has been done to the dignity, safety and reputation of those present at the house, including women and children. So, an investigation should be conducted against the above-mentioned people. The drones, memory cards, storage devices and related equipment used for the illegal surveillance should be seized,' Jayalakshmi pointed in her complaint.

Her complaint said that on December 8, 2025, the media barged into our residence 'Padmasarovaram' in Aluva and captured private pictures of women and children using a drone and then circulated it. The visuals were captured on the day the verdict in the actress attack case was delivered. The media had telecast the visuals of Dileep leaving his house to the court and returning home after the verdict was delivered.
