Engineering student dies in lorry-bike crash in Thodupuzha

KOCHI: An engineering student died tragically after the bike he was travelling on collided with a lorry. The incident took place on the Kolani Bypass Road. Abhishek Vinod (18), a native of Kanjirappally, died in the incident. His classmate Kiran Radhakrishnan (19), a native of Kottarakkara, Kollam, was admitted to the hospital with serious injuries.

The accident occurred near Thottupuram Fuels at around 4 am on Monday. A lorry carrying timber towards Kolani and a bike heading towards Pala collided, resulting in the tragedy.
