Man, son electrocuted to death in Malappuram

MALAPPURAM: In a tragic incident, a man and his son died of electrocution in Perinthalmanna on Sunday. The incident took place at 3 pm today. Parakanni native Mohammad Ashraf and his son Mohammad Amin are the victims.

The electrocuted bodies were found in the motor shed, used to pump water for agriculture. As per the report, Ashraf suffered a shock from the motor. Later, his 14-year-old son entered the shed without knowing the incident and came in contact with his father, resulting in the tragedy.

The bodies of both were shifted to the hospital. The mortal remains will be handed over to the family after conducting an autopsy.

Earlier on Sunday, a man and his son died in a car accident at Mattannur in Kannur. They have been identified as Nawaz and his son Yazeen of Pariyaram. Nawaz’ car collided with the car coming from the opposite direction which led to the death of the two.
