THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan said that the Sangh Parivar is challenging the Constitution while pretending to be in power at the federal level. Pinarayi Vijayan alleged that those in power in India are descendants of those who refused to be a part of the freedom struggle. He was speaking at a program organised by the Kerala Renaissance Committee.

"The Sangh Parivar is subverting Constitutional values by implementing things such as the Citizenship Act. The Sangh Parivar is portraying Muslims and Christians as internal enemies. It has created a situation where Muslims are put in jail in the name of triple talaq," Pinarayi Vijayan said. The CM also accused the BJP leaders of directly calling for violence against minorities.
