Sexual assault during serial shooting; Case filed against popular actors Biju Sopanam, SP Sreekumar

KOCHI: Police filed a case against actors Biju Sopanam, and S P Sreekumar, on the complaint of a serial actress. The Infopark police registered a case against both of them on the complaint of sexual assault during the filming of the serial. According to the complaint from a popular actress, one of the actors sexually molested her while the other one threatened her to not speak about the incident. The complainant and the actors are part of a popular serial.

The actress shared the assault information with the special investigation team formed after the release of the Hema Committee report. The Infopark police registered the FIR as per the instructions of SIT. After registering the case, the investigation has been handed over to the Special Investigation Team. Recently, the actress withdrew from the serial.
