Back in the time, it was cigarettes and alcohol that gave the needed respite and thrills to youths. With the passage of time, the preference changed and the market got trumped with newer introductions like Cool Lips. If couched between lips will work the effects of tobacco leaves, faster than others. And now, even cool lips are tuning redundant with the introduction of synthetic drugs. The sale is all covert within the state but more youngsters are giving it a try. MDMA also thrives among youngsters and school-going students, mostly girls. Synthetic drugs give an instant thrill and take along for a trance that coerces young minds. However, the peaceful sensation of being in the abyss of such drugs is ephemeral. Soon, it will take a toll on life.

Sandeep stabbed a shaken Dr. Vandana Das 11 times. A widely discussed case that got the fervor running among doctors who staged massive protests all across Kerala. Vandana never knew Sandeep and was on her duty at 4:30 am. Sandeep mercilessly took hold of surgical scissors and went bloodthirsty piercing the tool into her head. The police officers and doctors dismissed any mental imbalance in Sandeep. However, one statement from a policeman warrants attention. He heard Sandeep shouting in fear “ he will kill me, he will kill me”. Doctors weren’t surprised, unlike the police officers. This phenomenon happens within people prone to synthetic drugs. Apparations will be routine while many experience fear and see things others don't. Synthetic drugs increase the dopamine count inside the brain. Suicide attempts are common among such users who will also experience numerous appetites and big cravings for sex.

Even, reputed film stars are also said to be in the shackles of such drugs. It was an explosive revelation of recent times from another actor who feared his son entering the movie industry for the rampant drug usage running with impunity. The excise after discerning such statements has taken up the case for good.

According to findings from excise and police, drug gangs are running big business hubs in many city schools. The gangs mostly lure girls in high school or sometimes as low as 10-year-old girls. This selection process is shrewd. Girls under the tutelage of grandparents or maids, whose parents devote a career abroad are preferred mostly by the gangs.

The synthetic drugs will be first shown to these girls. Talks will be all cordial such that the girls will not feel desolated in the company of these gangs. After taking them into confidence, the girls will be used as carriers by the gang to sell products inside the school premise and outside.

However now, three complaints regarding gang criminals targeting girls are in office. Minding the development, the police are readying moves to come up with an action plan starting in June. Shadow police and special excise officers will be placed on duty in front of city schools in the capital. In the last few years, more than 100 cases have been registered citing the drug cartels using girls students as carriers.
