Love failure: Student kills classmate on campus, shoots self

LUCKNOW: A student committed suicide after killing his classmate. The incident happened at Greater Nodia in Uttar Pradesh. The dead are Sneha Chaurasia and Anuj Singh, third year degree students of a private university. The incident happened last afternoon at 1.30 pm.

Anuj Singh, a third year BA Sociology student, shot Sneha dead and then shot himself after going to his hostel room. Sneha died of two bullet injuries in her stomach and chest and Anuj shot himself in the head.

Other students said the two met outside the college’s dining hall, and later Anuj was seen going to his hostel after shooting Sneha. Deputy Commissioner of Police Saad Miya Khan, DCP, Greater Noida said they had been in a relationship and had broken up recently.

The media reported that Anuj had claimed in a video he had recorded and uploaded on Google Drive that he was shattered after their relationship broke. He also mentioned that he was in the third stage of brain cancer. In the video, Anuj requested not to create any problem and signs off with please forgive me if you can.
