Unidentified group attacks DMK leader's aide in Bengaluru

BENGALURU: An unknown group of five members attacked DMK leader M K Azhagiri's aide in Bengaluru. V K Guruswamy Murthy (77) was attacked with a machete in a restaurant. The incident happened last day.

Guruswamy, who was attacked, is a gangster from Madurai. Guruswamy came to Bengaluru to discuss real estate with a middleman. Guruswami arrived in Bangalore on Sunday and stayed at a hotel. The police said that while Guruswamy and the middleman were talking at a restaurant in Kammanahalli, the gang arrived in a vehicle with a Tamil Nadu registration and attacked him. The injured Guruswamy is undergoing treatment. The police said that the reason for the attack is not clear and investigation is underway.
