Negligence of doctors; Scissors got stuck in Harsheena's stomach during surgery at Kozhikode Medical College, say police

KOZHIKODE: The police told the court that a pair of scissors got stuck in Harsheena's stomach during surgery because of the negligence of the doctors and nurses of Kozhikode Medical College. This was mentioned in the investigation report submitted to the Kunnamangalam court. According to the investigation report of the Medical College ACP, the scissors got stuck in Harsheena's stomach during surgery at Kozhikode Medical College.

Meanwhile, Medical College Assistant Commissioner K Sudarshan filed a charge sheet by naming four people, including doctors, as accused in the case in which scissors got stuck in Harsheena's stomach during delivery surgery. The first accused is Dr. CK Ramesan, who performed Harsheena's third delivery surgery at Kozhikode Medical College Hospital in 2017. Dr. Shahana M, who is now working in a private hospital in Kottayam, is the second accused. Rahana and Manju KG, nurses of Kozhikode Medical College IMCH, are the third and fourth accused.
