Jigarthanda Double X; OTT release date out

Directed by Karthik Subbaraj, "Jigarthanda Double X" emerges as a recent box office success. Starring Raghava Lawrence and SJ Surya, the film is set for an OTT release in Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam and Hindi languages. Scheduled for its Netflix debut on December 8, 2023, "Jigarthanda Double X" serves as a sequel to the 2014 hit "Jigarthanda" helmed by Karthik Subbaraj starring Bobby Simha, Siddharth and Lakshmi. The lead roles in this sequel are portrayed by Nimisha Sajayan and Shine Tom Chacko. Produced by Karthikeyan Santhan and S Kathiresan under Stone Bench Films, "Jigarthanda" hit theaters on November 10, coinciding with Diwali celebrations. The music for the film is composed by Santhosh Narayanan. Notably, the movie has garnered significant acclaim from audiences, particularly in Kerala.
