Huge announcement; Karthik Subbaraj joining hands with Suriya for new film, update is out

Actor Suriya and director Karthik Subbaraj are teaming up for a new film. The film has been tentatively titled 'Suriya 44'. It was Suriya himself who announced the project through his social media page. The film will be produced by Suriya's 2D Entertainment and Karthik Subbaraj's Stone Bench Films.

Suriya has also shared the announcement poster of the film. Suriya shared the poster with the hashtag #LoveLaughterWar. Fans are waiting for further updates on the film.

Suriya recently wrapped up the shooting of his pan-Indian film 'Kanguva'. The film is expected to hit the screens later this year. Karthik Subbaraj's previous directorial venture was 'Jigarthanda XX' starring SJ Surya and Raghava Lawrence. The film was a huge success in theatres.
